I don’t often blog on websites that i really like or i find interesting, simply because A: it’s probably only me that’s interested in it anyway and B: it’s detracts a bit from my own work.
However, in saying that, after looking through the awwwards site for some inspiration – I’ve discovered some blindingly good work. The first of which is zeitgeistbot – the content of which i’ve not even taken in really, but just purely blown away by the implementation of HTML5
The next site is something else altogether, www.messagesforjapan.com is a spectacular site built by Fi and Google – allowing individuals to post messages to the victims of the japan crisis. A beautiful site, were you can see in ‘real time’ people from all over the globe posting messages, and using Google Translate to turn them into Japanesse. I’m not usually so taken by a project, but this is just stunning, definatly work a look..
The New Adidas advert, possible the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. And it’s really well done as well, who knew Snoop was handy with a saber!
Who doesn’t want to be in that cantina?
I’ve returned to my blog, to not only a lot of spam, but also the realisation that’s it’s been two months since my last post.
I.AM.SORRY.
It’s been a pretty hectic few months, not only working at 20/20, but also with my own work, and trying my damnest to get my own site back up as soon as possible with it’s new design.
I will be back blogging from now on though – as regular as I can anyway.
I don’t how many people know about this, I’m probably spreading old news, but this is just too funny not to post.
So my girlfriend spotted this article (in the Metro newspaper I think) about a man who chats in his sleep. Nothing out of the ordinary there, I’ve even been known to murmur in the dark hours of the night, but this guy takes it too a whole new level. So, his wife decided not to keep these little gems to herself and started the blog. Check out some of these amazing quotes:
“Oompa loompas don’t sing in heaven. They tidy up the clouds.”
“Don’t… Don’t put the noodles and the dumplings together in the boat. They’ll fight! The noodles are bullies. Poor dumplings.”
“Badger tickling: proceed with caution”
“I don’t want to die! I love sex. And furry animals.
“[suddenly, upon waking] “Snake!”
[in a cute, sing-song voice] “Time to bounce your face off the waa-aall.”
You can follow the blog on twitter. – It’s amazing.

I’m not writng anything about this, the picture says it all…
